   – Credits in five subjects, including Mathematics, English, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology, at the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) level.

   – A minimum Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) score of 250 and above for the Medicine and Surgery program, which includes anatomy as a key component.

 

  1. Postgraduate Admission: Candidates seeking admission into the postgraduate program in anatomy must hold a first degree in anatomy or a related field with the required Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA). The department also offers postgraduate programs that focus on specialized areas of anatomical research.
  2. Admission Deferment: For students wishing to defer their admission, the process involves completing clearance, paying school fees, submitting a formal letter explaining the reasons for deferment, and filling out the deferment form for approval by the university authorities.
  3. Registration Procedure: Upon being granted admission, students are required to follow these steps:

   – Print the admission letter from the university’s online portal and pay the acceptance fee.

   – Present original copies of their JAMB result and WAEC/NECO certificates to the Faculty Officer for verification.

   – Proceed to the ICT department for results clearance and the generation of a Remita for school fees payment.

   – After paying the school fees, return to ICT for registration and the issuance of a registration number.

   – Finally, complete the registration process with the Faculty Officer by submitting the necessary documents and opening six files for administrative purposes.
